Other advice services include:

• Advice on performing security threat and risk assessments.
  DSD's Advice and Assistance Team can facilitate or review an agency's IT Security Threat and Risk Assessment against important IT assets.
• Information Security training and awareness services.
  In conjunction with the Attorney General's Department, we provide an Introduction to Information Technology Security Course. Customised courses can also be delivered by arrangement. DSD also provides regular information sessions for IT Security Managers.
  
• Advice on projects relating to IT Security.
  Provision of advice is available at all stages of IT development projects regarding IT security. Ongoing assistance can be provided for the duration of the IT systems development process.
