How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in DSD. This page has been compiled to help you apply for a position with DSD. Please read it carefully before submitting your application.
Successful applicants must be Australian citizens; be willing to complete detailed security vetting procedures and undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment prior to commencement. You will be employed in the Australian Public Service on probation.
To lodge your application, you must submit the following information:
- Your current resume including the names and
contact details of 2
referees
- An application addressing the criteria
- A completed Personal Particulars of Applicant form
- A completed Consent to Participate in an Organisational Suitability Assessment form, and
- A completed Consent to Obtain and Release Information form

Once an applicant has forwarded their application, a Selection Committee will convene to assess their claims for employment. If they present satisfactory claims, they may be short-listed for interview. Either way, an applicant will be advised of the outcome of their application as early as possible.
