Applications for the 2014 Altitude@DSD graduate program have closed
The Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) has a very successful graduate program, Altitude@DSD. Graduates join Altitude@DSD to do Analysis or IT/Cyber and Information Security work and complete three work rotations over a year. After a taste of the diverse and unique work DSD is involved in, you will have the foundations for a rewarding career directly supporting the Australian Defence Force and Australian Government.
We are looking for people with strong critical thinking and research skills. You will need the ability to quickly understand new and complex concepts and issues, and the intellectual and personal skills to solve difficult problems. You will have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, which may be complemented by work experience in a specialty area.
You will receive excellent training on personal and professional topics. You will enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and learn to use our specialised systems. You will have opportunities to travel. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and build strong foundations for a diverse and rewarding career.
Altitude@DSD staff regularly attend career fairs around the country.
